Directions and Information on the Weekend

Langdon Beck Weekend Fri 7^th Dec to Sun 9^th

We are staying in Langdon Beck Youth Hostel.

Quilts and sleeping bag liners are provided, if you like sheets bring your own.

Bring your own towels.

All food and non alcoholic drinks are provided.

Arrive anytime PM. Expect to leave by Sun 5pm.

The journey time from Leeds is one and a half hours.

Directions.

Up the A1 to Scotch corner, turn left onto the A66.

Follow the A66 through Greta Bridge and then turn right onto the B6277.

Your destination is on the B6277, first you have to pass through Middleton in Teesdale. After passing a large hotel called the High Force Hotel you are only a couple of miles away. Look for a roadside telephone box on the left and then the YH on the right set back and higher than the road.

Park through the gates at the bottom of the path on the left. We will have to squeeze the cars in. A light meal will await you ( 6 to 10 pm).
